Jersey Devil Update: 2022

These latest Jersey Devil encounters range from chilling to light hearted. Victim interviews include a truck driver, Forest Service personnel, pilots, and a county worker that discovered long forgotten reports of Jersey Devil sightings from the 1930's and 40's. One of the more terrifying recent stories came from a Hammonton resident who was snatched up as he walked home one night. He wriggled from the clutches of the Jersey Devil, fell onto the roof of a house then tumbled onto a parked car. The story is told by the victim in chilling detail. Jersey Devil Update: 2018

These modern encounters will challenge your assumption that the Jersey Devil is a colonial era myth. They will have you looking over your shoulder whether you are camping, hiking or walking to your car after work. Witnesses still describe the creature just as they always have; a horse like head, cloven hooves and large bat style wings. Most describe it as having an imposing physical presence. This book includes tips for your own Jersey Devil hunt, eyewitness accounts, and locations of many recent sightings.
